I recently received an email from my cousin, who we had planned on photographing our big day. She wanted to let me know that she had double-booked our day and would have to decline being our photographer. I was disappointed that she would not be a part of the wedding, but also sad that she wouldn't be able to make it our wedding as a guest as well! I'm not one for guilt trips, or crying over spilled milk, so I knew that we needed to move on a find a new photographer, for a much bigger price tag.
Our wedding photography is very important to me. I would like to think that it will be these pictures that hang in our bedroom and over the fireplace for years to come. Cliche, but there is special place in my heart for cliche. Great photography = money. This money is coming from my generous parents, and the little bit that my guy and I can supply. So somehow we have to find a balance and book an affordable, but awesome photographer!
With the wedding T minus 8 months away, most photographers are booked. So I guess that I need to shake a leg...
